Why untraind works for EMOM

Most timer apps stop at a generic countdown. untraind runs EMOM-style training with configurable interval length, clear movement order, and strength programming details like 4-phase tempo and backoff sets in the same workout builder.

Each interval is an actual timed run step.

EMOM blocks execute as countdown steps with explicit round progress, so transitions stay predictable even under fatigue.

Multiple movements can share one sequence.

Add several exercises inside the same EMOM block and untraind cycles them in order across the configured intervals.

E2MOM and custom timing are supported.

Set the interval duration to 2 minutes for E2MOM, or use another custom work window when your programming needs more or less than 60 seconds.

Tempo and backoff are not add-ons.

You can program 4-phase tempo and backoff offsets in the same workout builder used for EMOM templates.

Offline and background-safe by default.

Timing and cues continue when connectivity drops or the app is not in the foreground.

Yes. untraind works offline and does not require account creation before you run an EMOM session.

Can I run E2MOM or custom interval formats?

Yes. EMOM blocks use a configurable interval duration, so you can run E2MOM, longer strength intervals, or shorter custom timing windows.

Can one EMOM sequence include multiple exercises?

Yes. Add multiple movements to the same EMOM block and untraind cycles through them in order across the total intervals.

Does it support advanced strength details like tempo?

Yes. EMOM templates can include 4-phase tempo definitions per set (eccentric, pause, concentric, hold) and carry those cues into execution.

Can I combine EMOM with backoff sets?

Yes. Backoff patterns can be configured with percentage or absolute offsets and previewed before execution.
